This intensive course is meant for a small group of experienced participants. Active participation is required. The course offers insight on how the expectations and perceptions of judges, public prosecutors and other professionals involved in criminal cases can influence the hearing of witnesses. Questions that are dealt with are – amongst others:

  • how one’s own behavior during the court session might influence the other participants and even affect the result of a court case
  • how to improve the effectiveness during hearing witnesses
  • how to protect witnesses
  • how to establish a positive atmosphere in court so all parties can do their work
  • how to deal with a media-sensitive court case.
