The hearing of young witnesses in sexual offence cases often takes place in a studio. This course provides participants with knowledge and insight in different methods of hearing young witnesses and especially hearings in a studio setting. The course aims to enable judges to use this kind of hearings as well as to examine the reliability of these testimonials. Practical exercises form part of the course programme.
Participants are expected to basic knowledge of dealing with sexual offence cases and victim-offender relations.
