The courts are the organs of sovereignty with the power to administrate justice in the name of the people. Categories of courts are: Constitutional Court (responsible for constitutional matters); Supreme Court of Justice, judicial courts of first and second instance; Administrative Supreme Court and other administrative and tributary courts; Court of Audit.
The training of judges and public prosecutors are the responsibility of the CEJ. Admission to the Centre is carried out by a competitive selection procedure. There are three basic types of professional training: initial training (theoretical and practical stages with a training placement), complementary training, and in-service training.
The Centre employs 65 people.
